Guy Paterson

Guy Paterson is owner of IRG Informatics Inc.  

Trained as a Hospital Pharmacist and in Clinical Practice for 13 years with Saskatoon Health Region, Guy spent an addition 18 years with the Health Region in various Information Technology roles including serving as Director of Systems for Saskatoon City Hospital for 8 years,  Regional Director of Systems and Networks for 7 years and Regional Director of Information Management (CIO) from 1999 through 2001.  He spent his final 2 years with the Health Region  as a Business Development Advisor.  Guy received a Life Fellowship (FHIMSS) from the Health Information and Management Systems Society in 2002 and was in the first group of receiving the Certified Professional in Health Information Management (CPHIMS)

Kari Taylor-Atkins

Kari is an IRG Consultant currently based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.  Kari was an early trailblazer on Digital Health as a lead developer for the Alberta Medical Association ‘Vendor Conformance and Usability Requirements’ initiative which set the standard for quality and standards for Electronic Health Records (EHR) in North America.  Kari joined IRG Informatics in 2005 to work in the development of a US EHR standards, requirements and conformance testing managed by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) based in Chicago, IL.  Kari worked with CCHIT for 13 years.  Kari has been a consultant for IRG since June 2016 where Kari has consulted extensively for PHSA, Vancouver Coastal and the BC Cancer Agency.

Grant Kerr, PhD, MBA

Grant Kerr is an IRG Consultant with Shared Health Services based in Regina, SK.  Grant holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration and a PhD in Strategic, Program and Project management.   Grant has been a long term leader as a Project Management Professional including provincial, national and international roles.   Grant has extensive experience in a broad sector of public, government and not-for-profit sectors including 9 years with eHealth Saskatchewan.  Grant has done several projects with IRG including a Project Manager for Data Management and Analysis for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Social Services, Analysis of CT Patient Flow for Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and as a Project Manager for the Manitoba Health Transformation Project with Shared Services Manitoba.

Doug Archibald

Doug Archibald is based in Penticton BC.  Doug served as a Senior Financial Advisor and Analyst for Saskatoon Health Authority for 19 years working closely with clinical and business division of Saskatchewan largest health authority participating in all levels of the organization contributing to  the application of solid business principles to support recommended solutions..  Doug managed many collaborative work groups to prepare and present business cases supporting initiatives at both the regional and provincial levels.  Doug served 6 years as the Manager of Energy Services for Saskatoon Health Region managing energy and sustainability program across all health and long-term care facilities.  He provided decision support and financial analysis and forecasting for all aspects related to buildings, infrastructure, personnel, energy conservation and sustainability.   Most recently Doug worked with IRG to provide financial analysis and recommendation to the City of Penticton.
